My current binge worthy history podcast is Revolutions by Mike Duncan. I just finished the French Revolution, and wow, until now I never knew how long it lasted and I always thought that the royals and other nobles were the only ones executed.

Turns out that pretty much everyone was eventually executed. Yes that’s hyperbole, but you get the idea, if you were too revolutionary, not revolutionary, a royalist or just someone in the wrong place at the wrong time, you might get your head cut off.
