Yesterday was a tough day. Ran the Chicago Marathon and put up a “bad for me” 3:35 but the heat and my calves just didn’t agree with each other. The first half was an easy 1:40 and all was well, but coming out of the city I lost my shade and my legs. It was one of my more painful runs. My calves cramped up so bad I almost fell down, so I finished the last 7 miles with the old walk run technique I’ve unfortunately mastered over the last 5 years of my running. I did think it was cool that I ran my 10th marathon on 10-10-10. I also kept thinking that I have A LOT of training to do before my first Ironman next September. They throw marathons at the end for fun on those things. Oh well, good thing I have a short memory. Now on to the names.
Prams.net I have to admit I had no idea what this was. I even owned one and didn’t know it was a pram. Tens of thousands of searches for these things
Bean.org I figure this one has tons of bids because of Mr. Bean
Estudiantes.net There are a lot of Spanish speaking sports clubs with this name. Means like Fighting Chickens or something (actually means “students” in Spanish)
DirectMailingLists.net Plenty of searches (33K) and a $13 plus CPC make this a great name
KidRugs.com These are the types of names that do well with commission sites but the minimum is $200 and you can do the same thing with the dot org and it’s free to register
Buttville.com According to a recent Cosmopolitan article 43% of women are now letting giving tours to this place
Nice job with the marathon Shane – don’t be so hard on yourself, heck if you’re going to be doing an Ironman you have a TON of respect in my book 🙂 I’m training for a triathlon early next year but am doing Sprint distance since I’m not at Ironman level yet.
Just went for a beautiful jog on the beach here in Florida – at the end of the day it’s just all about enjoying yourself and staying fit! We’ll have to do some killer jogs next conference we’re both at.
Since both you and Bruce are not coming on DNCruise I’ll have to recruit a new running partner!!
I’d be happy if I could run ONE 8 minute mile!
