Monday’s First Day of August Auction and Drop Picks

July was my best month ever regarding the number of names sold. It’s pure chance and really just the way things fell.  I’d like to think I’m doing things differently but honestly I was lazier than ever.  I’ve barely had enough time to write articles and did a terrible job of marketing names.  I’ve also been saving money that I usually put into new names and allocated it for development.  It doesn’t mean I won’t pull the trigger on a good names though.  Let’s take a look at some of the names I consider good.

Badger.com Wisconsin fan or lover of mean animals

EnerG.com Get it? Sounds like energy.  You’ll be so trendy

FaceIt.com Hottest word on the planet. “Face”

NoseJobs.com I’ve thought about getting one but I’ll stick with character instead.  Lovely domain

AloeVera.com Yeah, I know.  Plant name, I should buy it.  Going to go for way more than I can afford.

AuctionOnline.net The dot net brings it down but still a nice name with not too many bidders

Points.org Some give prizes (prizes.org) You can give points

Burma.org Never been there but I’d still like to have this dot org

  1. New owner of AloeVera will have a hard time to get it on #1 at Google as there is one really strong competitor. But 200 000 exact monthly searches is worth the effort
