Domain Spotlight:

It’s always interesting to me to look at how buyers are using their domains a few months after purchase. The screenshots below are examples of some buyers of domains from September of this year that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their domain acquisition to an existing website.

FileBackup.com sold for $11,300 at Flippa, and the owner is under privacy protection. It’s no surprise that this is developed into a lead gen site. Current Alexa rank near 6 million.

Reformador.com sold for $11,000 at Sedo, and the owner is Corpointegra Reformador. It’s an upgrade from Reformador.es, which is where the .com is currently redirected. Per Google Translate, “We are a construction company and reforms with 25 years experience. We are dedicated to reforming housing and businesses (shops, offices, restaurants, hotels, etc.).

FamilyBox.com sold for $10,000 at Sedo, and the owner is Scott Garen, Familybox, LLC. “FamilyBox is the first website designed to help you create, save and share a living ongoing history of your life with your family in complete privacy.”

My-Ticket.com sold for $5,000 at Sedo, and the owner is Benedikt Alder. Redirects to MyTicket.de. A ticket seller for concerts and other shows.

    1. Thanks Prashant, I hope I will keep going with these posts too, but whether or not it happens is another matter….. 🙂

  2. I love these kind of reports. PersonalProtectionDogs.com an upgrade from PPK9.co.uk I’d say is one hell of an upgrade!
