SHANE’S BIG LIST: Sunday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on February 16th, 2014

The worst part about the new gTLDs is starting to appear.  All the ridiculous prices people are trying to get for their new names. I understand some of the stronger names, but on CAX today I saw NR1.guru for $10,000.  I didn’t even look to see the owner and not calling him/her out in particular, it was just the first one I saw.  But get used to it.  There are going to be auctions and for sale lists full of them.  On that note i.photography recently sold meaning that every new gTLD EVER featured in the book of 10 has changed hands. But I only accept the best.  🙂 Here are today’s names

SkyPortal.com  15 years old. One of those names that someone sells for $10K because some software company wants.  I never have those names

FastShake.com  Diet shakes fads come and go.  A fast one would be nice.  Actually I’d just like a powder based shake that doesn’t have the whole bottom full of clumps

BigRags.com The worst name ever for heavy flow sanitary napkins.  Napkins.  Really? That is also a terrible name for them

SHGS.com 14 years old  Great letters.  Name has Ss at the edges.  That’s nice.  I like the letter S

Subbing.com  Surprised no bidders.  A real word .  Also what my basketball coach was doing after I shot at the wrong basket

LifeUnclogged.com  Not much value but I do like it.  How I like my life to be.  Then again I try not to throw a lot down the drain

JustBig.com   Forget the Tall

FunHour.com   Short and fun

TheRemodeler.com   If I’m a home remodeler or construction I would want to have this name.  No bidders

PNPM.com Another good LLLL.com   Great week for find good ones

FreshCutFlower.com  As a professional I can tell you that you want the most recent cut flowers.  Might be common knowledge but then that diminishes my skills
