SHANE’S BIG LIST: Thursday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on Sept 19th, 2013

It seems that every “old school” domainer that I talked to lately has been killing it over the last 6 weeks.  The one common trait?  They have great domains that can represent a brand.  One word dot coms that can stand for anything.   Igloo domains is my new name for them.   Domain Advisors changed their name because it was too generic.  Too similar to other companies with domain in their name. Perhaps even too limiting for what they wanted down the road.  So they rebranded with the name Igloo that can represent anything.  Igloo type domains are where you want to be and those that have them are making bank.  It doesn’t mean you can’t do well with other names, just means that there is more demand for the former. Here are today’s domains and not too many Igloo domains.

PortlandMovers.com   This name is combined with a 14 other geo names in an auction that is still under $20 and has met reserve.  Two clicks on most of these would pay for the auction at this point

Telephone.info  It’s back at auction and I 100% guarantee it will sell this time.   Dot info continues to be hot.  I know all these things because I have deemed myself an expert

Crytography.co the practice and study of techniques for secure communication in the presence of third parties. There are companies that are trying to find technological uses of cryptography.  End early in the morning and still only $6

VeggieClub.com I love veggies, I would join the club as long as it’s not based in Portland. I don’t like Portland vegetarians for some reason. Put a bird on it

DirtyBikini.com Only like it because it’s 10 years old and no bidders so it’s only $12. And its an awesome, memorable name

uOld.com LLLL.com and what every girl under 30 tells me

0346.com NNNN.coms that start with 0 are usually in less demand and these things are starting to go for over $3K

attach.me Perfect name for the dot me ending
EverDock.com One of those names. Short and someone will want to pay a heck of a lot more than $28 down the road

7204.com And they keep on coming

Featured Offer – 32% off new products at GoDaddy! -CAD)

VintageAuto.com   Not a very versatile name but if you sell vintage autos it’s a hell of a name

PremiumAutos.com   Easy to say this is a premium domain

ParadiseHomes.com  Sounds expensive.  The homes and the domain

UsedPowerTools.com  If you still believe in exact match

CanineClothing.com   Because people care about their pets more than strangers….. and No bidders and 14 years old

 LWow.com   Little sister of JWow

WorkSearch.com   Sounds like a good place to search for work….but I guess that is obvious

9g.org    NL.org and I guess they could eventually get from 4g to 9g

DomainCrew.com   Gang, Crew.  Maybe Theo will also start a crew

PetSitters.com  Gonna have to beat Elliot out for this one I’m guessing

PornIndustry.com   The barriers to entry is pretty low to this entry.  Might be lower than ours.  Based on some of the portfolios I’ve seen looks like people might as well be in porn because either way their screwed

6427.com  My favorite of the NNNN.coms at auction today

Underwrite.com   Another insurance domain that I have no idea how to monetize yet still want

BabyProof.info and 50 other aged dot infos for less than reg prices

ChildCustodyLaw.info and 20 other law dot info domains also for less than reg prices
