Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, June 2nd, 2023

I have been calling Rob Monster an evil person for years. It always drove me crazy that people liked him because he is “nice” to them. Ignoring the racist that he is and the financial ruin he leaves in his path everywhere he goes. So it was a matter of time until Epik failed. Those who are owed money knew of Rob and the allegations and continued to work with him. I don’t feel any sorrow to see this statement from the attorneys representing Epik’s collapse and proposed sale to a new company called Epik.

Epik has significant payments due this Thursday for its ICANN and domain registries obligations, which are necessary to keep the company going. Thus, if this deal does not proceed, Epik unravels and its value (and any ability for your client to recover from it), becomes virtually zero

I truly hope the latter part of this statement comes true and it disappears forever. Again, I never wish financial harm on anyone. It hurts more than those that lose the money. Yet, in this case they did business with a bad man and they knew he was a bad man when they did it so the consequences should be equal to the risks and they are. The domain industry is better off without Rob Monster and Epik

Domain of the Day: NDTC.com We had a conversation on Sherpa regarding LLLL.coms with good letters and end in C. I thought they are worth $1500-2K and they thought $2500ish . This price is saying they were correct \

  1. I couldn’t agree more about Monster. The weird thing is that someone like Braden Pollock still seems to have all his names at Epik. I am sure he can afford to transfer away, but he hasn’t.

  2. Just had one transaction with him where he was the middleman between me and Dave Evanson and at that point i had the same thought. He is not a good man. Not a man of words. He can lie antime in any sense.

a friend used epik promotions and told me to transfer my names i said No! even he does not charge.

After seeing him in DigitalTown mess i really wondered how this man lived this far in this industry without going to jail.

No surprise for me. I agree this industry will be better off without Epik and especially Rob!
