Is it just me or does your wife act like she’s driving your car for the first time every time she gets in? When I travel my wife drives some of the trips to allow me to get some work done. But it takes her an hour to get used to the car. Swerving all over. Setting the mirrors 10 times. And accelerating and decelerating like she’s got a calf cramp. To her credit, she drives a Subaru and I have a souped-up Explorer, so she’s moving up in size and power but I’ve had it 8 years and she’s driven it 50 times. But each time is like she’s been given a new car. Really really difficult to type this thing out when in your side vision your driver has their head on a swivel and reacts like a cat to every leaf blowing out the window.
On a more positive note, I received more inquiries for domains yesterday than I have in a long time. Almost all were great starting offers. Even a $1000 dot cc offer. Yeah, a dot cc. I have two that might be sold but something feels off on both so I’m not getting my hopes up. How is it off? The questions and backtracking on things mean either the buyers having second thoughts or they meant to get the ball rolling and we got to the deal too quickly and they don’t have the finances quite lined up. That happens quite a bit and they never really communicate that very well. I’m an open and honest negotiator but that’s because usually, I’m on the side that controls the deal. Either the owner of the product or a buyer for something that they aren’t going to sell quickly without me. If I sell anything I’m sure I’ll talk about it on Domain Sherpa.
