Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, March 12th, 2021

Is it just me or does your wife act like she’s driving your car for the first time every time she gets in? When I travel my wife drives some of the trips to allow me to get some work done. But it takes her an hour to get used to the car. Swerving all over. Setting the mirrors 10 times. And accelerating and decelerating like she’s got a calf cramp. To her credit, she drives a Subaru and I have a souped-up Explorer, so she’s moving up in size and power but I’ve had it 8 years and she’s driven it 50 times. But each time is like she’s been given a new car. Really really difficult to type this thing out when in your side vision your driver has their head on a swivel and reacts like a cat to every leaf blowing out the window.

On a more positive note, I received more inquiries for domains yesterday than I have in a long time. Almost all were great starting offers. Even a $1000 dot cc offer. Yeah, a dot cc. I have two that might be sold but something feels off on both so I’m not getting my hopes up. How is it off? The questions and backtracking on things mean either the buyers having second thoughts or they meant to get the ball rolling and we got to the deal too quickly and they don’t have the finances quite lined up. That happens quite a bit and they never really communicate that very well. I’m an open and honest negotiator but that’s because usually, I’m on the side that controls the deal. Either the owner of the product or a buyer for something that they aren’t going to sell quickly without me. If I sell anything I’m sure I’ll talk about it on Domain Sherpa.

Now on to the list

Domain of the Day:

Remember to click the links to see the current prices and if you are going to pay for a name do it while visiting It pays for the gas to run the ship. Names at Auction or Available for Pickup This one is getting high either way Maybe a stretch but the online signature business skyrocketed with COVID Sounds like a good dot gg name to me As good as accelerate is for gg, this nice little LLL is good for dot vc Lets call this an NFT name. Because I call all names NFT names

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction The perfect combination of keyword and extensions. Taken in 258 extensions Handshake Names something 1996 birthday, no reserve, and an CVCV? Going to crush If you can’t get it a CVCV in a dot com maybe think about the dot io 23 years old and taken in 19 extensions which is middle of the road for extensions. But I still think this breaks $1000 and Pretty sure the same person let these two expire Really nice brand. Although it sounds like a Neighborhood A bit long but exudes a nice feeling Move forward..Porn Met reserve at $99 Need an editor? Find it here for only $121 (and a $25,000 buildout) Met reserve at $10K which seems awfully cheap. Do your diligence At $49 at press time

Godaddy Domains With Bids Most bids on the Godaddy board but I am not going to pretend to know why. Not many backlinks that I can see. It’s a big race but not even in the order they use in the name and Find growing ground and warehouses Big keyword. Discount coupon with the 1 Services is used in tens of thousands of brands Officially a one word dot com Top price on the board at press time but for the juice although I think the name would be more than $600 on its own Nice 5L that’s 24 years old DMOZ listed , 93 sites link to it. Juice name Sounds like my kind of company Solid solid marketing name Makes it sound better than regular car care as I say too much. Great keyword. Discount with the extra letter Tell them what to see Insurance on the blockchain NFT Art domain again Sounds all natural. Or cannabis We clean down to the core Great time to sell this one but its expiry. Still some life in selling masks but on the downside of the curve Not a bad travel name for under $75 at press time

  1. “like she’s got a calf cramp” that had me laughing Shane. I literally just went through this yesterday. She was stomping the breaks. My wife who is a foot shorter than me so the mirrors and seat were all thrown off when I got in the car later in the day too.
