Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, May 26th, 2023

Everything I ever learned I learned from plants. They are generally metaphors but growing plants teaches you a lot about life. Here are 5 things plants have taught me

1. If you move them to new conditions quickly they struggle. You can have a plant thriving in a certain location and decide you’d like to move it. Maybe it got too big or you want to split it and have another one. You need to give that plant time to adjust. Any changes in light or soil will be a struggle. When I move a plant, I usually cut it back hard to take some of the stress away. People are no different. They need time to adjust to new surroundings

2. Patience. Most plants peak many years after you plant them. Growing plants for sale means you are planting something you may not sell for 3 to 5 years. You have to plan for no income from those plants and only costs. Time is a great barrier to entry and if you are patient you can use that to your favor

3. Beauty came make you spend money you shouldn’t. For 30 years I have watched people spend money on flowers they really can’t afford and they are going to die at the end of the year (annuals). Beauty makes you forget the zeros on your bank account. Men have known this for centuries.

4. If someone is addicted to plants they tend to be nicer people than average. They love to spend time in the garden. Usually not wearing headphones, just taking it in. That’s good for the mind and soul. It’s also good exercise. Obviously not 100% accurate but a person that has a beautiful flower garden gives me an idea that they are more likely to be kinder

5. If you don’t put in the work AFTER you have a nice looking plant you won’t have a nice looking plant long. It doesn’t stop when you plant something. The care after is almost more important than the care of the grower. Most people forget about maintenance. Of everything. They expect everything plug and play and forget. Life doesn’t work that way. Even married couples of many years should always be working on their relationships.

Before you go: I have a special offer today. A friend of mine is selling this entire package for $3K. Let me know if you are interested. It’s a package, not sold individually.

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction Must be a big renewal because no bids on a name this good means there has to be something going on Never heard of dot vote. Can say there has not been a lot to vote for of quality This is probably more valuable than my that I own Taken in 500 extensions. This one could be yours Meme maker site. There are a lot of them but this would be a great start of a name Got a bid at $25K and sent it to auction I love the keywords. Never been a big fan of the dot com type dot co no reserve. LLL.nets seem to expire all the time Definitely worth the $500 to $1000 price. End user would kill with this if they specialized in NYC freight Fun brand . Short and memorable We talked about this one on Sherpa. It was one of our favorite given that much of the world still tops off their phones with Phone cards CVCV.coms are always worth thousands. This is no reserve expiry so will probably go for more than wholesale Could be read as I SAVE. No reserve so whatever it goes for will be its true value. Pending delete. Slogan has to be is “All we do is win win win ” Rambo’s wife. No reserve I actually used to listen to them back in the 80s. Probably old men now I think this meets reserve. I actually like the name Looks like this one is going to be one of the first to sell. Definitely one of the best names in the auction Under $500 is a good price IMO for this one. L by L We’ll call this a pronounceable V is tough in the last spot but reserve is below 25k so might be priced to sell My favorite on the board as far as cool looking if that means anything And my favorite in relations to working as an acronym The first to meet reserve Never heard of dot network but I have a few Genes

Godaddy Domains With Bids Getting a big price. Air names always do better than the norm. Discount Only Fans I see salty but I feel like you need to own Salty too if you go that route Cheap compared to other NNL but the V might be holding it back $8K all in hopes of selling to the electronics company. Not my risk reward type Pretty big category Lemonheads, peanut MnMs, Sour Cream Lays, pretzels, blueberries three of a kind is usually good for four figures Going to go cheap. Odd adverb and a dot net I feel like they are going to offer acupuncture Solar calculation site Both good name. My guess is the same person let them both expire GrayStoneCapital Definitely more value than the 3 bidders are giving it at press time online mentoring is a growing thing you have to because people are so fat only 3 bidders. Bigger market than that Generally this is a bad thing but you could rebrand the idea Data analysis and management is a game you want to be in big big dot net discount Based on all the personal debt this seems to be a growing category AI anything I can tell its going to be cute Popular southern term and These two have the most bids on the board but for backlinks and history. Backlinks pay very very well Sounds like it won’t send well for the Captain

  1. Butthole Surfers 🙂
Yep, like you Shane, I also listened to them in the back in the ’80s.
They were really popular on the college scene here in Texas, being that they were formed
at Trinity University in San Antonio.
