Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, May 5th, 2023

One of the things I’ve noticed over the last month is my wife is starting to get comfortable asking me to do things. She didn’t ask me before because I was always at the nursery and would come home exhausted. Now I’m all smiley and on and off the computer. Running errands and working out. Yesterday she said and I’m not making this up. “You should take my car into the dealer to get serviced and ride you bike home. You can get some exercise and then we don’t have to go drop it off” So her idea was I should take it, and ride my bike 9 miles home on a busy road or ride a mile south to a less busy road and do an 11 mile bike. Truthfully that’s not that long of a bike. Takes me a half hour. But and a big but. I worked out 2 hrs this morning AND I already rode my bike a half hour in the morning.

I also had already, mowed my lawn. Went to my Moms and borrowed her trimmer and put a good edge on the bricks, sidewalks, and curbs. Went and washed my car. Took the trimmer back and realized Mom needed hers to be edges. Had an hour long Twitter spaces to talk about regenerative farming. Had a meeting with lawyers about a meme coin. Worked a few hours on ideas for a business I hope to start working on. To me that seemed like a pretty busy day. But a quick bike ride seemed in order.

The irony in all this is part of my retirement “package” was I was allowed to retire if I gave my wife the exact same amout of money that I drew as salary from the nursery. Meaning she gets exactly the same amount of money but now I get start doing my fair share and more around the house. To be fair I have 28 years to make up for but I never made her take my stuff for service and then ride a 10 speed home. The bank account looks the same but the yard is the best its looked.

Judges say………..Winner …Stacey
