Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, January 24th, 2022

One of the things I realized having a daughter is that most of the businesses that I was involved in were male-dominated. In the nursery and garden center business it’s pretty equal. Plenty of females are involved in growing and selling plants. In most cases I actually prefer a woman to be on the team. They bring a great skill set and in general are able to juggle tasks and are tougher than men. But when it came to the stock and financial markets, domain investing, and NFTs its dominated by men. Men in these industries tend to be the last stronghold on immaturity and being naive to their inclusivity. I was one. It wasn’t a conscious effort to leave anyone out but my judgement was less than appropriate. Raising a woman changed that. Now I seek women out.

It’s not to make amends. Not for optics. It’s because of what I said above. When measuring the smartest people in the room more than 50% of the time it’s a woman. A woman HAS to be on a team to provide a viewpoint that only a woman can provide. A man can understand but not know. One thing I do still that may not be correct is judge by looks. Not by beauty itself, but rather than overall look of health. I’m not looking for a super athlete in a man or woman, but I do think that how a person treats their health often reflects on their overall decisions making. I remember when Mark Cuban told someone that they would never hire someone that does Ironman because all that time they put into training they could be putting into something more important like their job. While I agree with the everything in moderation, I do think how a person juggles their family’s needs, their personal needs, and their work needs show their ability to perform. Women are better at that than many. Mothers are needed at a higher level than a Father. I’ve seen some amazing businesswomen, mothers, and givers to their community all in one package.

Again, its not to say that a man can’t be all that. It’s merely the fact that women haven’t been given the chance to be all that. I would be stupid to look over half the world to be great partners and team members. I won’t be missing that opportunity from this point on

Domain of the Day: VirtualMotors.com A lot of angles here. Sell real cars using VR or sell VR cars using VR

  1. When people were hunting Meta names, you were hunting Giga, but I was targeting Tera names, a thousand times better. According to my science teacher…
