Escrow.com
Clubhouse is full of some great people but half of the people on there are exaggerating, hyperbolizing, or just flat out lying of their accomplishments. I know because there is a thing called social proof. Proof that you have done what you said you’ve done. When someone comes to the stage and gives advice for the most part it doesn’t really hurt anyone. It’s just opinion or advice on a book or article. But then I hear someone say this “When I’m in an interview I ask the person what was a conflict that you got in at a previous employer” “Then I ask them for that person’s contact so I can talk to them’ “They have the real info on this hire, they are the person that saw the worse side” “If they don’t give it to me I know they have something to hide” In the US that is illegal as fuck. And if that person gives them info that is incorrect and leads to a nonhire they have exposed themselves to a big lawsuit as well. As an employer legally all I usually say is hire date, role, and sometimes I’ll say if it was a termination or not. Often I won’t even give that. Too much liability if I say something that could be disputed. There were so many other things said in some of these rooms that were ethically wrong or just illegal hiring practices. Same in the real estate rooms. I am not a real estate professional but I know there are some laws about leads. Enough to know that cash is never a good way to pay a lead. I still believe the good greatly outweighs the bad and will continue to jump in as many conversations as I can. I just wish some of the people in the group would challenge some of the thoughts. At this point it’s all polite and thank yous and move on. And maybe that’s the best way to handle it

Domain of the Day: Ufos.com Top number of bids on the board and understandably. Been a phenomenon for 50 years

Quote of the Day:When the white missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said ‘Let us pray.’ We closed our eyes. When we opened them, we had the Bible and they had the land.” – Desmond Tutu

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
