Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesay, January 18th, 2023

I recorded our gardening show yesterday and realized I’ve been on the show for 28 years. More than half my life. Once a month or more for 28 years. I also used to be on CBS and ABC in addition to PBS over the years which taught me to be comfortable on camera. I know what they are looking for. How to use the lights to know what shot I need to look into or away from. I know how to keep it entertaining and informative. When I first started I was nervous as shit. I felt like the microphone could hear my heart beating. It got worse if I was hosting. Leading and directing the flow of the show took a lot of work. Now it’s so easy. I barely prepare when I come in. I just need the flow sheet at my desk and the teleprompter and I’m good to go.

One of the best things I did early was joined ToastMasters. Its a club to learn public speaking. Lots of drills and practice in front of the group. I unknowingly joined an all African American group and was the only white person out of 50. We were all there for the same reason. To get better. Drills like, hand me a card with a word on it and give a 5-minute speech on that word off the top of my head. Another speak for 3 minutes on a topic yelled out and not saying umm, or pause, or any word that holds your thought. All super difficult then but after practicing for 25-plus years, comes naturally. Like everything in life, to get better, to get less nervous you have to experience it enough, and be confident enough, that you can do it in your sleep. Fear of public speaking is no more than afraid to try and unwilling to break the fear. It’s not a personality thing. It’s a lack of want. That’s ok. To make a public speech you have to have a crowd. Some were meant to sit in the crowd

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
