Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022

One of the things I had to do again as I left for my trip is show my wife where everything is and show her my call list in case something happens to me. I don’t expect anything to happen, but not sure anyone ever does. Realisticaly I’m adding a little more risk to a normal trip. Travis will be happy to find out he is the main person to call if Stacey needs anything. He understands domains and crypto. Aaron Johnson is my second . He works for Godaddy and I’m sure he would help should I …well should I.

You don’t realize how many assets you have until you pull the sheet of where things are and realize you’ve added another page to the list since the last update. I added Binance and a few wallets here and a few there. Showed her the safe and the safety deposit numbers for seed phrases and other data. Showed her how to use and not use MetaMask. Showed her all the apps that have some form of crypto. Of course I will have my computer and phone with me so getting at things will be a little harder. I told her that unless I go down in the plane that the computer will be pretty helpful so get that back. But even if she can’t , I did a complete backup and put it in the safe as well. I also recorded every WhatsApp and text and put it on backup so if she really had to find some things there could be some forensics. Of course I tried to organize it a little better so that should never come into play.

Its not comfortable putting these things together. But many of us know that life is not that simple and things come up that we can’t control. We all hope to get to 95 like my Grandmother but not going to happen for most of us. Speaking of Grandma. Unfortunately she has had a very tough week. Last time I climbed Rainier my dad got an infection a week before, had a heart attack and almost didn’t make it. Now that I’m climbing again, my Grandmother got the exact same thing and also had a heart attack. She is going home but the toll on a 95 year is much worse than 77 years. Not sure how many days she has with us but she had the blessing to be mentally sharp all the way through. Able to talk and tell stories and share all those great memories and stories she had inside. Living to 95 is one thing. To live a good 95 years is rare. My Mom has lived with her and able to share this last decade together. Something that makes these days harder on my Mom but the time and memories that she got to share will grace her forever.

This entry may be a bit of a downer but it’s not. I am going to share memories with my daughter and my best friends. Its why we live. So when the day comes its over I filled the middle with fun and smiles, challenges and triumphs. Adding more chapters to my book of life and adding a little content so I can write a few more of these intros. Having great pictures and stories only come from leaving the nest. I’ll miss the nest with my wife and dog but I’ll bring them a cool T-shirt and their daughter home safely

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.

  1. Thanks for sharing this. Times have really changed quickly. I remember going away 10-15 years ago and telling my wife where my Gretzky Rookie Card was hidden in case I don’t make it home!
