Sorry I won’t have a lot of time to chit chat today. Had the Domain Investors Fantasy Football draft so had to take a few hours to do that. I had first pick for the first time in decades. Took McCaffrey of course. Headed to Seattle in a few days to run a marathon as well so the tapering has me a little tired. Funny how when you rest your body goes into full slow mode. Healing and sluggish . If I hand’t done this 30 or more times I would think I’m not ready but this is the process. It’s a shock to not get up at 4:15 every day. To get 8 hours of sleep and not run all the miles. Healing takes a lot of energy. But the result is by the weekend I’ll have fresh legs and should be able to run fast. Anything can happen but I like the training more than the race.
