Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday the Hump Day

Nov 18 2015
Back in March of this year I reviewed Rick Schwartz’s portfolio.  I like to go back and read some old articles to see if my opinions have changed or look back at how stupid I was.  But in this case my last point was pretty spot on.  He was going to make millions with his numerics.  And he did.  One last thing, if you’d like to submit a name to the NamesCon Auction hosted by ROTD and Namejet make sure to submit your name HERE.  Submissions close Friday.  Here are today’s names.  Click for current price.
.   Not THE Shaq but still a nice name.  So many reasons this is going to do well. 18 years old
.  A nice uplifting name. 18 years old and no bidders
.   My favorite type of to buy.  Good letters for both sides of the pond and repeating letters.  The best you can buy except for the big three patterns
.   These are the type of LLLL.orgs that have a chance to be sold to an enduser.  Most do not
.   This is a perfect example of the name that had no value a year or two ago.  And now look.
.  The zero bring the price down to a level for us common folk
The Battle:  Which one will end up at a higher price?  or
.  Only one bidder at $1000
.    I thought this was a pretty dope name for $10.  No bidders
. I’m not sure I trust the dot biz sales after the last debacle.  Of course I got my money for so there are some real sales.
.  I know this one is real because I have talked to the owner.  At $20
.   I was buying names with X at the front because I though it was memorable but could be used as a marker. Like Complete Farm Sales could be XCFS and be remembered.  It was stupid but thankfully the Chinese bailed me out.  Nobody else thought it was a good idea
.  It’s got a double even if its a vowel.
.  I am going to try and buy this name.  Then why am I listing it? Because you were probably going to find it anyway and if I don’t win then at least I get commission for selling the name.  Honest truth
.  Great Western letters and getting a pretty good price. Price tells me the dot com is worth $4K though
.  This one is the exact opposite. The Chinese pattern is the driver.  But the price is about the same
. I am going to buy this one and get my permit to divide it into two 3 number dot coms
.  Already up to $400.  Like I said earlier, something is off.  Certainly not 5% of the dot com
.  Thinking of what got this up to $400. Probably the alternating Ns
. People are forgetting about dot cc but that’s just fine with me
And here’s a list of the 6N.coms I like 823167, 582532, 528785, 358132, 363251, 511389, 282826, 677193, 288384, 981823,
.  It’s bought out so these now are going up in value.  You’re choice, just pointing it out
.  How could you not trust something that has trust in the name
. A whole three years old and already a star
Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)  Getting close to meeting reserve.  Great Western acronym which is getting lost in the Chinese crowd  Domains FU or as the listing says “Dead From the Neck Up”   Below the latest minimal price  You don’t see many first name .com  up for sale any more.  When they are they always do well  Gonna be used for porn.  Its inevitable.  One bid at $50  The CCC.coms flew past the four figures.  Through in an 8 and its past $5K right now Pretty sure its getting close to reserve.  I would hope so  A website that has good potential.  Although someone who writes needs to live in New York
.  Hour in Spanish.  Also a nice   One of the best on the list tonight
. The $3K mark was broken and held the last few days.  This should break it easily if not hit 4 because of the double R
.  Loved it the first time, love it more 3 days later
. This one is killing it.  Short dot com with an 8. Gold Jerry, Gold
.  The funny thing about the Namejet private listings of LLLL.coms is many of them were put up for listing a month ago when prices were completely different so almost all of them are reaching reserves early.
.   Could get a bargain on this one because the V is considered bad but actually works as a western acronym in the front spot
.  This one as well.  N for network
.  I’m not a comic guy but I know they have been eternally popular and it will probably stay that way.  That’s why I used the word eternally.

Methinks the boats are being lifted by their relative cheapness, coupled with the notion a lot of people didn’t see it coming. Getting it now at $XX is not as good as a hand-reg, but it’s better than missing the boat and seeing them reach mid-$XXX.

Off topic. Now you have everyone saying “chips”…… Lots of chips for sale and chips conversation going on when previously we were chipless. LOL
