After a lot of thought I have decided to launch Botany.com as a newsletter. With AI driven content being dumped all over the Internet I need to assess what I want to do as a website. My goal is to seek out great gardening products and have a line of clothing and gardening products but that takes time to develop. In the meantime I will start with social media videos and posts and a weekly newsletter. I think this is in my wheelhouse and will add a personal approach that AI is not great at………yet.
I am going to travel a bit to gardens and growers and enjoy plants in a different way than I have the last 30 years. I’ve been a grower and a seller and now I can see horticulture from the other side. Domain investing pays the bills so there is no financial pressure. Hiring content writers and rushing into a business makes no sense to me.
