   SEDO currently has possession but has not updated the whois for some reason.

   I think that % is a lot of these situations..

   Buyer contacts seller via Whois/contact page on domain etc.
   They come to an agreement and price.
   They agree to do the transaction at Sedo.
   Seller sets BIN for the already agreed upon price at Sedo.
   Sedo claims a high percentage of sales with BIN pricing.

   The reality is, I have never sold a BIN listed domain at Sedo, other than the situation I mentioned above.

   Just my 3 cents.

   I sold the domain. The buyer requested that the sale was kept private and instead SEDO published it.

   Did they pay for the privacy (no report of the domain)? I’d be pissed if I paid 3% of the purchase price and they still published it!

   Use Escrow.com next time, they don’t report anything.

    As far as I know yes.

    In my transfer center it indicates that the transaction will NOT be made public.

    I personally don’t care that the sale was reported, but I don’t understand why it was.

11. Interesting Brad! It’s one thing if you ask for it not to be published, but to PAY for it not to be published and it is…. I’d sue for damages! 🙂
