Yesterday on Twitter, people were showcasing the keywords they were blocking. It was geared towards me, Josh Reason, Morgan Linton, Alan Dunn and the other people that have been talking about NFTs a lot lately. It pissed me off because the reason I follow people on Twitter is because they are interesting. Interesting because they share some of the same likes as me or they like or retweet things that I may not have seen otherwise. Of course I don’t like everything they talk about. People go on spurts about things I have no idea what they are talking about nor do I care to find out. But I like them for being them. I am adult and smart enough to filter out what I don’t care about without literally having to set up a filter. Besides, seeing these types of discussions help me learn about a new potential source of domain buyers. I guarantee the blockers have no problem selling a domain to ape talkers.
If someone wants to filter me then they should unfollow me. I am who I am and its what makes me me. You may not like running, gardening, NFTs, crypto, Ford stock, dogs, kids, family, small business, or the millions of things I’ve done over the last 10 years, but pretty sure something in there interest you. Or you laughed or googled something I talked about to learn more. You also should know that we all go through phases. That things we are really into are going to change in a matter of months.
The other thing that bothered me was while most don’t have the affinity for these stupid ape pictures. if you look at the people that have bought them or talked about them a lot, they are some great domain investors. Bar, Morgan, Hiren, Drew, Josh, Josh, JT. They are good at what they do so if these guys are all eating carrots at 2pm then it would be worth your while to look into eating carrots at 2pm. I’m not saying you should, but when people I like and respect are doing something I look at why and what.
Talking to the other Ape and non domain talking people in the domain world, we’ve decided to start our own discord. It’s going to be heavy domains but it will also be some alt investment talk as well. It will allow us to be invite only and not have to worry we are boring people. It’s going to be a lot of fun and like all the private discussions, we’re going to make some money from it. People are missing out on these group texts we’ve been having lately and Discord will allow us to have the same feel but add a larger group. Look for your invite soon

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
