Really an exciting day in the domain world yesterday. Not because of what they did in domaining but because of what they did in NFTs. JT and Drew from Domain Sherpa announced they were working with Timberland on a record label and had a big Twitter spaces that was great. And we launched our Discord for Paradise Trippies and it went great. We whitelisted the first people that came to the discord and made their usernames all Orange. We also met with blockchain engineers and came up with some fantastic plans for the future ahead. Ironically Bored Apes got us all here and led us to opportunity that went way beyond that. With a bonus of making us wealthy.
Unfortunately it also has broken us up a little. We’ve not been the domain ambassadors we once were. One we all know the domain part of things have been diminished as we all are deep into other things. Two, the time suck of all these projects leaves less time for volunteering my time in exchange for promotion. I have never been prouder of JT. He’s living his dream. It makes me smile seeing how happy he is. This has been his dream for 20 years. I wish them more than luck I hope they crush it and have an incredible experience. But I can’t imagie its not going to change Domain Sherpa as we know it.
The Paradise Trippy Team has given me an experience that regardless of the outcome, has been one of the best I’ve ever had. Andy and I have been at each other’s throats one day, and virtual hugging the next. The team is eclectic, fun, smart, and talented. It’s a real business. One door closed but a giant garage door opened. I know a ton of you have supported the project and I can’t thank you enough. I will never quit buying and selling domains. Doing this list. I truly enjoy that as well. The honey and the NFT things are just a long hour, full-time, side projects. Maybe you’ll miss me on DS, maybe you won’t.
