Not Enough Good Names Dropping Today So I’ll Leave You With a Joke

The quality 5L dot coms are getting pricier every day.  I lost middy.com yesterday. I put in a reserve of $350 and it went for $450.  I would have paid it but too busy at work to pay attention to the auction and forgot to raise it to $500.  It may have gone for more than that even.  Oh well, today’s another day and there’s plenty of chances to spend money.  Making it is when you don’t want to be “too busy”.  So again today I couldn’t find enough names of which I find value so I will leave you with this joke.

So this old man is walking down the street in Brooklyn. He sees a young boy sitting on the street in front of a candy shop, shoving sweets in his mouth as fast a possible. The man walks up to the boy and says “You know son, its really not healthy to eat all that candy.” The kid looks up at him and says, “You know my grandfather lived to be 97 years old.” The man replies “Oh and did he eat a lot of candy?” The kid looks at him and says “No, but he minded his own fucking business.”

I saw the domain Fuxus on NP for $25 (not mine) and thought it was a 5L deal.

  3. Hah! I hadn’t exactly thought of it that way… I guess it would depend entirely on what I was buying 🙂

  4. “I don’t know the meaning…(of this joke).

    Francois,

I don’t know if this will help but I will try.

The point (punch line) of the joke is that the boy’s grandfather did not live to be 97 years old because he ate candy.

He lived that long because he did not interfere with other people’s business. (…”he minded his own fucking business”
