16 years ago today was the best day of my life. My brother invited me to be the best man at his wedding. It was beautiful. Friends and family all gathered in a beautiful setting in the woods. We all walked down the aisle taking in the moment. The crowd silences as the priest begins to say his words. But from the chairs I hear a rumbling. A “Oh No” and a little scrambling. In the middle of my brother’s wedding my wife’s water broke. We had been cleared to travel merely 24 hours earlier at a checkup. But 6 weeks before she was supposed to come, my daughter Libby decided she was going to see a wedding. They tell you that the first labor takes a bit longer than the later ones. Don’t believe it. As my wife slowly delivers a baby in the back seat of my 95 Honda Accord I fly to a hospital. The hospital told me what I told you above. “It’s her first, you have plenty of time” I drove three hours home to our local hospital with my daughter’s not so cute little head peering between my wife’s dress. She was delivered 11 minutes after we got to the hospital. No drugs, no painkillers, just a baby. But my wife made sure to get in all her curse words in those 11 minutes. It truly was the most memorable days of my life. Just hard to believe that was 16 years ago. And yes I registered her domain name except I registered her first and middle name because I thought it sounded more like a site should would use. ElizabethBryant.com She was named after Bear Bryant like all children of Alabama graduates should name their kids. In 1999 I was already thinking of her domain future. Click for current prices.
717.org If you’re going to buy an NNN.org, this is exactly what you want to buy
RYL.net 15 years old. Premium letters. 5% of dot com puts it in the $4K range. 3% is probably more realistic
XRCH.com Premium letters so let’s start the bidding at $1200. OK, how about $700?
MKJB.com 13 years old. Sold on Godaddy for $105 this time last year. Somebody is going to do well….and probably wish they wouldn’t have sold it
RecycledFlooring.com Great name. This is a big business. There are companies that sell wood that fell of ships into the Mississippi River, old barn wood, etc. I’ll take it if nobody else is
TQSK.com Tusk terribly spelled. And a CHIP
LHLX.com I like the X at the front or at the end. But this market has NOTHING to do with what I like. Otherwise I would already be a millionaire
DNPK.com Maybe I should buy this for Domain Picks. Nah, we already have DSAD.com
UglyBlog.com No bidders. I feel like you could buy this for $12 and sell it for more
02464.com These types of names set the ground floor for 5N.coms Four and a zero. Looks like its all the way up to $500. But we’ll see here
02465.com Ending in 5 usually helps but right now its about the same price
XVXY.com I like it even though it has a V. I like it visually and to me a good looking name adds a little more value. My opinion only
69438.com I thought it was better than the 5N.coms above but at press time it was less. Shows I still have a lot to learn. But the final price is all that matters.
PMZ.co People are definitely acquiring these. I am not a fan but I am a fan of buying an reselling for more so these are worth looking at
HoloGirls.com Because you know they are coming. Just a matter of time
90005.com This one is going to do very very well
Orbiting.com I would have thought that this price would met reserve
Mechanically.com Met reserve. Not the tense I like but getting great bids
FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM
JohnDoe.com As seen on the Domain Sherpa show. Unanimous favorite
TMSN.com This one has always had value. The Chinese just added more to it
RSC.com Of all the LLL.com that have come across this year this is the one I’d like to own the most.
NCLC.com Another English and Chinese premium. C for Corporation
GolfIndoors.com Hard to believe this doesn’t have a bid. Great marketing name for an indoor range.
SolarStop.com I truly think solar is going to be a huge part of our future energy supply. Great name for a company that sells it
GoodWillHunting.com No bidders on this great movie. I do like Matt Damon though. Just tired of saving his ass in every movie
GameHats.com Billion dollar industry. Every kid has dozens of team hats. Plural to boot. No bidders
CheapReaders.com No bidders. This one is geared towards me. I have to wear a pair of cheap readers to type this out. Usually buy they at Costco or Sams but Luxotica could add another glasses store to their monopoly
EatYourWords.com A popular saying. “Going to make you………..”
HHGH.com I’ll guess between $3K and $4K
RBBS.com Nowhere near the number of bids as above but I would rather own this one long term
XSPS.com S is my favorite letter. That really has nothing to do with anything. Just saying
Bulletproofing.com If you do this you should want this. Actually you should want bulletproof.com first, THEN this one
KTMT.com The repeating pattern gets more money
Sakora.com Upgrade name for quite a few places. One bidder at press time
S7M.com The average price for them seems to be in $350 range. Have been moving up a little though
871871.com Be interesting to see how this one does
LoudNoise.com No bidders. Good blog name or marketing name. What they put up at basketball games on the scoreboard all the time
