I have always been driven by goals. But what happens when you meet them? I have had a much harder time figuring out what the hell to do once big goals have been met. I have been working at night every night for 9 years writing this list. It has been great for me mentally and financially. Writing, scanning through names, concentrating on something other than my regular day job. The additional goal was to have some extra money and help pay for my kids college. Now I have both. I have extra money and my daughter is away at school and its paid for. Now what? The internal search for drive is very personal and its impossible to tell someone how to find it. But I won’t lie. I am searching for new goals and kind of wandering right now.
It’s odd to write this kind of stuff in a domain blog but I really feel like its life and many many people will go through the exact same thing so why not share. How do I find the drive to run hard every morning, work every day, and then work on this blog every night? That’s what I’m typing out here. There are days I have to kick myself in the ass and remind myself why. When my drive falters and my desire to do nothing is greater than my desire to achieve. I have realized that it is ok. It doesn’t mean you are weak or that your drive is gone. It merely means you need to do something different for a little while. Adjust for a day or pivot for good but you’ll be fine. I’ll be fine. It may take me a week, a month, or the rest of the year but eventually I find my path. God, family, and friends will make sure I do.
And yes, writing this blog will be part of it. And seeing a new video show with us guys at DSAD will also be part. Now that we are all back from vacations the tapings will start. Look for that soon.

Yes finding your drive can be a real challenge. I had a hard time finding it for over a year until I learned about domaining 9 months ago. Now I’m super excited and motivated!
