Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday April 30th, 2020

Escrow.com

I realized this COVID season that I hate my wife being home all day. It’s one thing for my routine being messed up but her schedule is now all jacked up and it throws mine off even more. She now sleeps in later because she doesn’t have to drive into work or take a shower first thing so when I am getting ready she is often still in bed. Nothing worse that trying to get ready for work when someone is still sleeping. You don’t want to wake them but you got shit to do and need to get ready. It was fine every once in a while this thing is going to go on for another month.

Also when I get home she wants to talk a lot more than usual. I’ve loved my wife more than anything for 25 years and enjoy the end of day conversation but before we both were a little tired and the conversation was calm and less thought provoking. Now that she doesn’t get to see anyone in person her mind is racing. I’m working more than ever and more tired than ever and she wasn’t to discuss her entire day. It’s like she’s a stay at home Mom with no children staying at home. She’s literally got nobody to talk to. But at least she doesn’t have that baby voice that stay at home Moms get. You know the voice , where they talk to you like a child and try and make every moment a teachable moment. Mine is more just a lot of stories she want to share. I only care because she cares. I do my best but damn she needs to get out of the house.

Fortunately for both of us she went to a Zoom party with her friends. A dozen 50 year old sorority sisters, drinking, whooping and hollering on Zoom. A bunch of White Claws, wine, and in the case of my wife Spotted Cow and lots of laughing and loud talking. She was getting it all out. I should have paid for the whole party because my wife got to feel normal again. Something I imagine millions are having trouble with. I guarantee there will be divorces as couples are forced to spend a lot more time together and decide that’s not in their best interest. In my case it’s been a great experience but I’ve been able to go to work, even expand on what I’m doing. My wife has had the typical quarantine experience and she’s sick of it. My job as a husband is to help her though it and most days I do. But I admit some days I’m not listening to a word she says. Just smiling and asking questions to make her feel like I’m listening. In the mean time I am thinking I need to get this list done and go to sleep. But she’s not stupid, she knows I’m not listening and she’s ok with it. After 25 years of marriage you know that most of the time just having the one you love in your presence is good enough. Although you better be listening most of the time

Quote of the Day: “What matters isn’t if people are good or bad. What matters is if they’re trying to be better today than they were yesterday. You asked me where my hope comes from. That’s your answer.” — Michael, The Good Place

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.

  1. Shane,
Thanks again for all you do here… not only is it a crazy time of year for you but now add all the self isolation challenges and it doubles your load.
I picked up WildColorado off yesterday’s list and I appreciate you efforts.
    Take care
    Brian
