One thing I will admit is that Epik is doing a good job. I have never used them but I know they are because people I respect have said good things about the company. I don’t have to like Rob Monster to like the company. I think the world of Braden Pollock who is an owner but I realize the credit goes to Rob for leading his employees to do what their customers want. It’s a simple business model. Listen to your customers and build products that they want and support that with great customer service. Epik has done that. Their employees have done that. They should be proud.
One thing I would like to add is one company improving and doing well doesn’t necessarily mean other companies are faltering. I will admit that Godaddy’s site is horrible. The quality of domains at auction for Godaddy and my customer service rep are as good as it gets. But I don’t pretend that everyone gets people as good as Mike Fear.
When its all said and done, more choices is always a good thing and I think Epik has earned being a good choice. Did I get paid to write this? Do I kiss and make up? No I see a company doing good things and giving good company service and I applaud it. That’s how it works. You give credit where credit is due and you point out flaws. You can’t bitch if you don’t praise.
