I’m extremely excited about the future of the US. I see a vaccine around the corner with spring being the time where we are released from our cocoon. But fall is going to be difficult. Difficult in many senses, one being we are lacking leaders.
There is no greater time than now to find the leaders among us. The self touting trumpet blowers need to go and be replaced by people that can do. I’m tired of words and now look for those that bring us together through actions, questions, and data. I’m no longer willing to waste my time arguing with someone that is unwilling to listen. When your ideas stagnate and you can’t adjust your thoughts, you can’t be a leader. Followers are earned. Earned through past or current actions. In my opinion to many of our leaders are elected on words and when it’s time for action they fail.
This fall is going to be rough for America. Presently the stock market says that everything is going to be OK. And eventually it will be. But I hope we as a country find some true leaders. People that are heralded not because of their celebrity but because they have a vision. A vision for everyone and not just the people that can support their vision financially. There 100% is a problem with sexism, racial discrimination, and wealth inequality. It’s going to take a long time to reduce these and someone needs to figure out how to tackle this while continuing to allow opportunity for everyone to grow. I think both can happen. I think it’s doable to have all boats float.
The US is going to change more in the next 6 months than it has in 20 years and the decisions makers are going to be remembered for better or worse. The problems ahead are an opportunity for all of us. A chance to go and be better. I hope we find a leader that challenges us to do exactly that.

I’m honestly not excited about the future of this country at all. In my opinion, the 2 current options in Trump and Biden are not at all what this country needs. Biden has done nothing significant in nearly 50 years in political office. Under Trump (with the help of the divisive media) the country has become more divided than ever before.
However, anyone with a brain knows that if (and likely when) Biden is elected he’ll receive far less criticism than Trump has. I still don’t quit understand how Biden avoids the criticism when saying things like “if you dont vote for me then you aint black” as well as being photographed celebrating with a member of the KKK . The democratic party has done nothing but take advantage of the black voters..just look at all the dumps like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, etc.
The media bias is real. There are countless examples if people would open their eyes. We need someone more moderate in office, someone younger who isn’t a career politician.
I agree. Presidential options are rough. I still think from local to national, there will be those that stand up and lead. Excited to see who grabs the opportunity

Trump is who he is. Good for the economy and us rich business people but not a leader. If you think he is a good leader then its you that’s not paying attention
I agree with both of you haha. Trump isn’t the 1 dividing the country, it’s the media. They benefit massively from it, and so does the democratic party that the large majority of the media side with in the US.
On the other hand Shane is right, he’s not the leader the country needs right now. Neither is Biden though. I’ve grown so frustrated with congress, the senate, just everything. I feel that so many people in these positions do not care about the people they are supposed to be representing.
