Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday July 24th, 2020

Michael Cyger was showing me a new domain evaluation tool he was working on and immediately two things came to mind. One, an amazing tool and I can’t believe the time and effort that must have gone in to making it. Members of DNAcademy have so much information and tools in front of them they can’t help but become better domain investors if they just go through the info and tutorials. The second is Mike is the true leader of domain education. Nobody doesn’t it better. You can follow the so called Kings on twitter but you are going to get a preacher not a teacher. Mike doesn’t call you names, belittle you. Tell you that if you don’t like what he says to f off. Nope. He brings the data. Brings the tools. He lets you learn for yourself. Maybe some day you’ll bring the new data that lets him build a better learning center.

We’ve all learned from Michael and become better domain investors. And I’m the only ass among them. People like Mike and Ammar Kubba prove you can be nice, help others, and be successful. Nothing wrong with sharing your success. If people think its bragging so be it. There’s nothing better than following someone’s journey in domain investing and see them have some great sales. Get the results they deserve. The hundreds of texts and phone calls asking questions and getting second opinions. Working together towards a goal. Individual profits but a group effort. If you think your information or “style” is proprietary, think again. You have been negotiated with by another domain investor just to see your answers and responses. You can use DomainIQ to email anyone anonymously and see. Don’t want to share prices or sales? Your portfolio is being tracked by many. All ins and outs. Then the history of where and who they came can develop a pattern of how names are found. There is no long term hiding of information in domain investing. They are going to learn from you whether you give out the information or not.

If you look at everyone as competitors then you are going to drive yourself crazy. You simply have to realize that friends are going to want the same names and they will bid to where they feel comfortable. For you to get pissed at them means you lack the mental ability to separate business from friendship. If its a public auction they were going to go for the name friends or no friends.

Kudos to Michael for his fantastic education center and the tools, knowledge and inclusiveness that it provides. Kudos to the culture that he promotes. In my opinion, this is the healthy way of learning and profiting.

Domain of the Day: TheBook.com The best sports book name I’ve seen for sale in years. Would be on it but I do feel there will be some trademark fights ahead. But you could win and then you could have a million dollar name IMO

Quote of the Day: “Someone once told me that human beings have three dimensions: how you see yourself, how others see you, and how you want others to see you. The closer the distance between the three dimensions, the more at peace you are and the more stable you become“. – Marwa Rakha

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. 1. Shane,

I don’t believe you can find two better people on the planet than Michael Cyger and Ammar Kubba. We are all very lucky to have them in our industry. I would put you in the group as well.

    Cheers

  2. Well said Shane, they’re doing a sterling job for the morale of the industry as well.
