In case you missed our post yesterday on some recent sales from 4.cn you ought to check it out. They really are putting up some incredible sales. Million and half million dollar sales with regularity. And their monthly sales have now eclipsed Sedo’s and climbing each month. It’s amazing what you can do with a few billion customers with pockets full of money wanting to invest in something. Here are today’s names.
WallStar.com Not huge value. But it’s 19 years old and short and sweet
Previo.com Means “upon” in Italian but I liked it because its a 5L that would make a good, memorable, brand
33A.com The NNL.com have held value as well as any type of domain under $1000 over the last few years. And always liquid
1ZU.com I imagine ZU is the driver here because it’s already doing well
NEW Thursday!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 1.99 cent New Registration and Transfer mma199
VQS.com Q for Quality. 19 years old
Gutz.com Z is so much cooler than S. 17 years old
SplashCity.com At least one company needs this as an upgrade
PrettyDresses.com Every girl likes pretty dresses
Loans.info One of the top infos you can own
Thriller.com This has been up for sale a lot. Great name but if it’s going to move the reserve has to be less than it was the last few times
A portfolio of 100 LLLL.coms At $20 per name right now which is a very flippable price
Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
What the domain’s age has to do with its value? Not much.
It’s the old thinking that’s kicked around by the .co registrations and new, non-dictionary, made-up words so lovingly used by the startups….
DomainsGains,
I agree about the age but age show that even when tons of other names were available somebody thought this was a pretty good name. Again, doesn’t mean much but means something
Previo.com is a 6L.com not a 5L.com
VQS.com (19 years old), GUTZ.com (17 years old) and outher domains auctioned by backorder companies loose the original date of registration.
When you win a domain at NameJet, SnapNames or Pheenix they update WHOIS data and the domain name appears like a new registration. The only way to keep original registration date is buying expired domains at DoDaddy Auctions.
Mariano,
Comments have to be approved to keep the idiotic statements like “why did you delete my comment asshole” out of the comments. It wasn’t deleted, it hadn’t even put up yet. Yes,you are right it’s a 5L. As for origination date, nobody really cares how old a LLL.com is. We all know they’ve been off the registration market for years. And thanks for the wonderful comment.
Why did you delete my comment asshole ???
Mariano,
*other, *lose, *GoDaddy. Asshole.
