I transferred my domains out of Moniker yesterday. Moniker used to be my second favorite registrar after Godaddy but I just didn’t feel comfortable with my domains there. I’m sure most of the problems from the past few weeks would have been overcome but I need to consolidate my domains anyway. It was pretty easy. You just have to unlock the domains, go to advance settings, and then send the code. It came within minutes. The only thing I didn’t like was the header on the Moniker email letting me know the transfer was about to happen. It say “DENY” in the subject matter making me think it was being denied. Just a scare tactic I guess. Next up, getting my names out of Network Solutions. If I put in for my authorization codes now I should get them emailed by Christmas.
