One of the big phenomenons of 2015 are the adult coloring books. They’ve been called the great savior of the brick and mortar book stores. It’s ironic because my daughter has been using them to unwind. She’s a very driven person, almost too driven. She trains and studies for hours on end and coloring is a nice relaxing evening wind down. I’m sure others are finding the same thing. Takes them back to the simple life of being a kid. Even if its just for a few minutes. And yes, all the good domain names related to it are taken. It’s not a new thing, just starting to peak in popularity.
Speaking of winding down. I am taking the rest of the year off and catching up on quite a few things. Not as much as I’d like but some. I’ve been running later in the day and sleeping in. I’ve slept until 7:30 every day and even stayed up past 10:00 pm. Something I haven’t done since this time last year (maybe at NamesCon last year as well). I have to admit I feel lazy but I realize I have to do this every once in a while to recharge. And recharging I am.
