Domain Shane’s Big List of Domain at Auction for Tuesday the 29th

Dec 29 2015
One of the big phenomenons of 2015 are the adult coloring books.  They’ve been called the great savior of the brick and mortar book stores. It’s ironic because my daughter has been using them to unwind.  She’s a very driven person, almost too driven.  She trains and studies for hours on end and coloring is a nice relaxing evening wind down. I’m sure others are finding the same thing. Takes them back to the simple life of being a kid. Even if its just for a few minutes.  And yes, all the good domain names related to it are taken.  It’s not a new thing, just starting to peak in popularity.

Speaking of winding down.  I am taking the rest of the year off and catching up on quite a few things.  Not as much as I’d like but some. I’ve been running later in the day and sleeping in.  I’ve slept until 7:30 every day and even stayed up past 10:00 pm.   Something I haven’t done since this time last year (maybe at NamesCon last year as well).  I have to admit I feel lazy but I realize I have to do this every once in a while to recharge.  And recharging I am.  I also won my fantasy football league which adds a few thousand dollars to the NamesCon fund and will pay for the DomainShane lunch.  Of which I’ll be announcing the day of the lunch tomorrow. Here are today’s domains. Click for current
prices.  20 years old.  The domain does one of the most important jobs.  Telling users what they’ll find at your site  All the bids are coming from the drink or from the girls  Another fine marijuana name.  Sticky is good except that you pay twice as much when you buy it. Not as big a deal if you grow it. So I’ve heard.  Only one bidder at $12  A very nice to add to your collection, or to start it    11 year old   The 8 gives it a little more value  Also 11 years old but not as good of a number so its not going to do quite as well  Oh 9 G.  Even that confusion doesn’t stop this for selling over $500  Every product in the world has it.  I also see a moving boxes play as well.  No bidders  No bidders.  Limited to a site about draft prospects but it has 90 million Google results so there are plenty of people that care about them in several sports.    The average price for these yesterday was $3161 according to Travis’ daily average chart  I bid on 30 plus and couldn’t beat first, two two, and one other person on any of them.  Another nice day of gooseegg.  These Seems like a site name from 2008 and that’s not a bad thing  This is the next dot cc group to make a big move IMO  One more for you to think about.  Just a few bidders   Found one more.  I will be a bidder on all of these but like most domains lately.  I will probably only be an early bidder

And a few LLLL.nets today  ZMDX, PWHP, HCYC, and TGPN vs   I think the 17 beats out the 19.  Neither is going to be expensive  First time I’ve had a on the board I think.  Worth watching  Just to show you that keyword dot cc haven’t done jack  Not much value (although it has a bid) but a great name for a site to throw shade at things. Could be fun

. 18 year old name that has been an awesome name for 18 years.  The new rules only make it better  You know I like this one.  I think everyone should.  But need to start first  Going to need $30K plus to get this one.  Will sell though  Will be interesting to see what a with a 4 is going for now  Already crossed $2600.  Namejet really is drawing a lot of great bids this fall  Not very many keywords for sale anymore but this one is ripe for a buildout  Gay travel is a huge market.  Much bigger than people expect.
