Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday May 10th, 2020

A few months ago I did an interview with Andrew Alleman about commission dropping off the first week after COVID starting taking hold in the US. That’s done. We’ve seen more purchases and commissions in the last few weeks than we saw at pretty much any time last year. And it’s not just domains. The retail that is open is seeing record breaking sales. I think we are seeing a HUGE shift to the Internet and an even larger amount of newly found disposable income.

In a nutshell, those with money have nothing to spend it on. They aren’t traveling, they aren’t eating out. Business owners got PPP and consumers got $1200. The unemployed get $600 a week more than they normally make. And they’re spending it. Millions are spending. Sure there is suffering and huge drops for many companies. But those that that are getting the business are crushing it. And its online sales and home improvement related industries that are doing the best.

Andrew Rosener announced on twitter than he sees a reversal in domain sales with a huge week in sales this past week. I had a great April myself. It pales in comparison but its all relative. What I am saying is I think this may be the best or last opportunity to get things at normal prices. The world is figuring out that the Internet is a financial gateway and our domains are the doors. COVID forced companies to move more online and consumers love it. Those that were there to welcome them now have cash to move up the domain ladder. And I think we’ll see a big surge the rest of the year. Those that have the good names always were going to win. The game may have been delayed a bit but its back on

Domain of the Day: Direct from the farm to your home

Quote of the Day:If you loan someone $20 and you never see them again, it was probably worth it. “ Names at Auction or Dropping Last chance to own a day Time to make 25% interest all good lettered dot io gets bids Sounds like a nightclub “Climb to the Top”

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action and “Draw me like your French Girls Jack” Great letters. Has a chance to make it to four figures Registered in 50 extensions. A HUGE thing. I actually have a friend that does exactly this. Actually called remote but this works All the results for Pokemon but we all see a bull here There are plenty of companies that have man in the title but it represents a whole company, not just one person 20 years old, taken in 39 extensions, and generic for YouTube from 1996 and sounds every bit of it. Sounds like a company that got bought out after the dot com bubble For people that put out the “still available to register” lists Edible edibles I like names but only if they have normal renewals. Lots of description in the auction except renewal cost

Godaddy Domains With Bids So many uses. From cars to music The top number of bids on the Godaddy board today and Been a while since crypto dominated the godaddy results A bit boring but call to action One of those one word, made up, brands that have been popular since 1999 Sounds like learning for kids Taken in 18 other extensions. Registered since 17 years old Can’t go wrong with coffee name IMO Needs to go to him or you’re squatting I passed by these three but saw this one getting good bids and take in 29 other extensions so A bit too generic for me. Its a more of a tool than a brand Sounds like a concert venue I’d be a little careful about using the word cures but its just a name I guess Pronounceable 4Ls are always worth looking at Saw it was registered in 30 other extensions and had to find out why. Band and alcohol brand is the reason You know its got backlinks and history when a dot net is in the four figures Sounds like hunting gear Makes me think of an old Bon Jovi song I’m long anything home related right now
