Domain Spotlight:

Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday, December 20th, 2020

I got started in domain investing with LLLL.coms. Coming off a trading background I started reading Reece Berg’s “4 Letter Noob” . The site is still up like a museum yet its still relevant in many ways. I still use the letter ratings to this day and did even during the Chinese rush in 2017. It allowed me to get some cheap 4L with vowels and sell off the bad letter names at a great price. Take a look and read through. Some good stuff there but also great to look at the old prices.

I haven’t bought many LLLL.com in the last year. Only when I sell one do I put the money back into more. I’ve sold 2 a year that has resulted in purchases of around 3-7 new 4L per sale. Here’s what I have at this point. It’s a pretty good list of 4L with decent letters. The really bad names I mostly hand regged back in 2000s when that was still an option. Of course now I have $180 in renewals so not much profit there. I consider it a $50K package in my head when trying to figure out my value in my head.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
