Recorded a new Domain Sherpa yesterday and it was a great panel of Sean Markey and Alvin Brown. Two guys that make a living on the Internet and have to hustle and work to pay the bills. Not a part timer like me that falls back on their real job. They HAVE to get things right in order to keep moving forward. Not just moving forward but to eat and pay their mortgage. So talented in their own way and creating success in totally different ways. Both have a lot of time invested in SEO so when Google changed things up the other day it effected their business greatly. They talk about it on the show and I think you’ll find that and other things interesting.
On a side note, I’m staying in a tiny home in the woods with my family. I love them dearly but no way in Hell could I live with them like that permanently. One, there is always someone right on top of you. Two sharing a bathroom. We have two tiny homes next to each other but one doesn’t have water or a bathroom so everyone shares one little space. It’s definitely better than camping, and I haven’t seen anyone for days except for a few people driving by, but there is always someone 3 feet away at all points in time. Three, I want to sit by the river and do nothing all day and they want to hike to the top of mountains, swim across rivers, and other feats of strength. I came to relax, they came to explore. One is young, one is inside and sitting all day. They came for opposite reasons than me. But I generally do what they want and then sleep the rest of the time. It’s my family and I’ll do whatever they want to spend time with them. But when we’re done, I’m like a bear in hibernation that is trying to make up for 6 months of short sleep.
Quote of the Day: “Uncertainty is an uncomfortable position. But certainty is an absurd one.” —Voltaire
