DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Saturday, July 18th, 2015

Jul 18 2015
Some solid names today.  And solid names doesn’t always mean expensive names.  A good name is a name you can buy and sell for more.  The amount you sell it for above and beyond what you paid is gravy.  The most important thing is that you found a name that gives you a chance to make money on the purchase.  It takes you from collecting names to selling them.  On a side note. 105 heat index again today.  Between the 10 hour work day and the 16 mile run, I’m either getting really fit or I should die soon. I’ll let you know how it goes…or I won’t . Here are today’s names.  20 years old.  Not a lot of bids but getting high bids  No Bidders, 16 years old.  $12   Who wouldn’t want to have their sales double?       No bidders. $12   Great name for a solar driven race car  Not a bad for $12.  Pretty sure you’ll double your money if you get it at $12   Same here.  I hear this all the time on the streets.  Yo!  Sup?  Not really, my streets are lined with corn   Under $75 at press time.  I think this one could end up being a good buy  Triple fives = $500 plus  Chinese city. That’s enough reason to buy it  Great crowdsource name.  Only one bidder Might as well fund the crowd

New GODADDY COUPON CODE: $.99 New Registration Godaddy fb99brmr01   And 49 other domains in a portfolio for sale  Not going to be cheap but great SEO potential for anyone in our industry  If you think have value then you have to think these do as well  Worth more than the $50 bid  No bidders. At $1.  12 years old.  One word dictionary name.   Sounds like a tool to me   There are a lot of British Opens that could use this one.  Especially the golf one    I usually don’t list so many dot io but such a huge Keyword with great CPC  High bid will get it.  Met reserve

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now   19 years old  Can’t imagine Super Pantry convenience store will let you have this one  They’re for much more than food service and probing  Doesn’t mean anything and that’s why its a great brand. Two known short words always makes a good brand.  No bidders.  Actually I didn’t even check.  Pretty sure there are some bidders though  A lot of discussion about this one on DomainSherpa.  Dave and Adam really liked it   Anyone who buys and sells domain should at least watch this to see what it goes for.  Big keyword and .xyz are actually selling in a resale market which can’t be said for too many new Gs  Fails the radio test miserably but I still like it a lot

Sorry for the possibly silly question, but by the time I see posts like these, I’m often told that the name is no longer available for auction. I’ll try to be faster on the draw in the future, but I’m mainly curious as to how well these guys do once the auction ends. What’s the easiest / best way to track completed auctions on Godaddy?
