DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday, March 22nd, 2015

Mar 22 2015

Yesterday I set a record for emails saying they would like to buy a domain for a school project.  It’s spring break around the nation and yet they are still thinking school.   College students can barely scrape up money for pizza half the time but the other half evidently want to buy a mid four figure domain just for a project.  Of course they want to pay beer money for it.  Here are today’s names  17 years old.  Everyone loves secret and hates taxes. Perfect combo  Not huge value but there are quite a few people selling compost worms online. 16 years old and no bidders Another obnoxious name on my list.  Perfect name for signing up for newsletters  3 years ago $1000, now look at it   The NYC is driving the high price  Not as good as above but still real nice Another with an X about to break $1500 Crossed $5K

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: 99 Cent Dot Com Registration. gofdsp401c   When building a brand you want memorable. This is memorable.  Everyone will want BigPickle shirts.   I thought it sounded like a tech name or a tutor company.  Under $50    Over 4,000 searches and $22 CPC, per Estibot  Another nice name with a reserve so high it probably won’t get sold. BUT you don’t know until you bid  Ditto  The future of healthcare? $10 CPC. The singular sold for $1k two years ago, per NameBio.   The soda hasn’t been popular in years but diets have kept going.   Not working, but still popular

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now My names have been popular for 10 years.  And this one is no exception 148 bidders   Two word product .com with over 1,000 searches per month, per Estibot. Sounds like a nice deal site name  Everyone loves a double D  Another name for FIRST
