SX.com Nobody seems to have mentioned it but it is at auction at Namejet. Yes a two letter dot com that is perfect for the Chinese market has sparked merely a whisper. There are less than 4 days left and it hadn’t even reached 100 bidders at press time. I realize that 95%, heck 99% of the people in the industry can’t afford or want to spend this amount of money it will take to buy this name, but I figured there would be at least 300 watchers to see what it went for. Maybe they are all waiting. I know I’m looking forward to seeing if it sells. I don’t put too much weight into the final price if it doesn’t sell, as I think this name is too good to be auctioned. Not that the auction houses aren’t capable or deserve quality of this kind, its merely that I would imagine that any price reached at an auction house would have already been offered privately. But I have no idea. I have never had a name even close to that good. Speaking of good, not very many names on the list today. Maybe the weakest in a few months.
