DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

Apr 28 2015

I have decided that nobody actually works any more. I say this because our retail store is as busy during “working hours” as it is on weekends.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy to have all the customers.  It’s staffing that is getting difficult.  Before it was early morning, lunch time, and after work were the busy times.  Now its all the time.  There are a TON of people in the US that are retired.  Baby boomers are done working and when its nice out , they visit the garden center. It’s something they can still do in their older age.  Sure, they spend an hour picking out one tomato but they’re at least spending it at our store.  And remember I said in the past that the financials of our nursery is a mirror image of the economy and to play the stock market in accordance.  I say go long, very long.  PS Apple had another terrific quarter and Apple continues to change the financial lives of the Cultras with every uptick. Thank you Apple and the millions of Chinese buying the phones.  Here are today’s names.  20 years old.  Love this one.  One of the better tech blog names in the last year.  If I was the owner of I would buy this for the $500 its being offered at  A little long but 16 year and $12.  No bidders  15 years old.  Under $25 at press time  A double U is tough to end an acronym with but that’s why it’s under $50  Looks too close to ESPN for me but you may like it  I probably should buy it but I’m tired of being called the gardener guy.  Don’t want to add to label by actually owning the domain  I know that all runners obsess about how the weather is going to be for their race.  Some value here  I am going to buy this one as well. I own SeedHouse and I actually like this one better. Maybe not better but a lot  I’ll put the over under at $900.  $400 left to go at press time  Q in the first three letters is ok, even good.  And the price reflects it   4N.nets still moving up in value   I don’t think I believe Godaddy who says this domain gets 33,000 monthly visits   Under $150 at press time.  Not bad for a non 4

NEW GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy hitched149  Solid name.  I guarantee that a lot of people think this starts with an F  Reserve met. Magazine names have been fetching a great price on Flippa lately  Would need a buildout but the affiliates and leads are going to pay for it easily    RFID and other tagging technology would work well with .io. Tech name with a tech tld. Reserve met   NASCAR people spend lots of money on their swag. Actually a website, not just a domain   Another Brannans name so it means it won’t be cheap  Last call. Met reserve Not cheap  Also met reserve I’ve been talking this one up. I talked to much.  Way out of my price range now

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now   You had me at TV.  And that she is 19 years old.   No bidders? I think the movie biz is still a pretty big business  Something something High School  and   Don’t usually get a chance to get a pair like this    I know nothing about Iceland but I do know this has some value  Pending delete.  I imagine there are a whole bunch of people that hope they pick this one up    Easiest letters to make an acronym on today’s list.  But I still can’t think of one
