I have decided that nobody actually works any more. I say this because our retail store is as busy during “working hours” as it is on weekends. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy to have all the customers. It’s staffing that is getting difficult. Before it was early morning, lunch time, and after work were the busy times. Now its all the time. There are a TON of people in the US that are retired. Baby boomers are done working and when its nice out , they visit the garden center. It’s something they can still do in their older age. Sure, they spend an hour picking out one tomato but they’re at least spending it at our store. And remember I said in the past that the financials of our nursery is a mirror image of the economy and to play the stock market in accordance. I say go long, very long. PS Apple had another terrific quarter and Apple continues to change the financial lives of the Cultras with every uptick. Thank you Apple and the millions of Chinese buying the phones.
