DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, December 23rd

Escrow.com

Yesterday I was doing end of year for our businesses and I realized that I now have over a million dollars in payroll at our company.  Having to create enough revenue to cover that kind of payroll has its challenges. I’ve heard several people say that I give bad financial advice or that I am this or that but I must be doing something right to have gotten to that level.  I had several goals in my businesses.  One was to pay everyone a living wage.  To keep people on year round in a very seasonal business.  And to do all that and make money.  It took a while but that has all happened.  All the while keeping this side gig known as domain investing going.   Sometimes I wonder what is harder.  Keeping the responsibilities to only yourself but only having yourself to generate the income.  Or having a great team of people but being responsible for making the huge payroll and insurance every week.   My feeling is the big money is in the latter if you do it right.   Very few people have made big money without a great team along the way.  I decided this past year I would rather work with a team here as well.  This blog has an incredible team with Aaron, Josh, Travis, and I.  We are getting 10 times done what I got done alone.  And I am making more money.   And its because of the team, not me.

I say all this not to brag, but to show that many domain investors do other things than domain investing.  Some great things.  Things that are way more impressive than buying and selling domains.   You would be amazed at the skill set in other world of some of your fellow domain investors.  You’re going to get to hear about some of those at NamesCon.  Again, the negative people and anonymous commenters are not going to see all this.  It will put way too much reality into their world.  It will put faces,  families, and personalities with the texts they read online.  They will learn that newbies may be newbies in domain investing but many are rock stars in other worlds.  That they are not sheep or lemmings that experienced domain investors can manipulate and milk.  They are intelligent people that are just new to this business.  People with experience and history in ANY business have an advantage.  That is how business works.  They have more opportunity because they have spent years creating it.  Being new only means you have a lot of work ahead of you.  Here are today’s names. Click for current price.

Domain of the Day: KOPA.com   A nice CVCV and it’s already met reserve

Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

TDBA.com   19 years old.  Great Western letters.  Have to admit very surprised on 64K results on Goog for this

NDWC.com   This is a whole other level.  $2K plus name IMO

CraftCanada.com   Canada has lots of arts and crafts.  When its that cold you have to do something all winter

SJLD.com  Another Chinese and Western premium

SNRN.com   So far, four very strong LLLL.coms on the board today.  Would love to own all of them.

HungerDiet.com   Unfortunately one of the best diets out there

NewBird.com    Solid brand.  Soon you’ll be flying

Domains I Like With One or No Bids

LifeSaver.net Not a bad name for $17. More than a breath mint

Reassured.com No bids. One of those dictionary names that I have no idea how you would use but people like dictionary names

TrendingUp.com The Internet is all about trending

DProperties.com Better than D.properties in my opinion. Real Estate name for $12 isn’t a bad thing. 11 years old

Goosk.com $12 5L

TheOdds.net Its a dot net and there are a lot of places that give sports odds now. But for $12 it may be worth a gamble.

Botany.biz I own the dot com and I don’t feel the desire the register this one for some reason. Maybe its because I already own the dot com. Paid exactly 1000 times the price though

UselessTips.com Could have a lot of fun building this one out. No bidders

LoveEverybody.com Impossible but whoever you do love, love em hard

TheMarbleKings.com This is where you get your Marble Columns

NoteQuote.com   Originally registered 20 years ago.  I think note as in loan and quote as it rate quote

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
