Domain Spotlight: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, April 18th

There’s a new Domain Sherpa show today.  I think you’ll like the show again even though the submitted list is not one of the better lists we’ve seen.  And maybe the worst.  But you learn from mistakes. Even if they are not your own.  Let me know what you like and don’t like in the comments.  I’m always interested to hear opinions.  On a side note, the action ends tomorrow. I am not in the loop aka friends with Aron  and have never received any PR or info about it so I can speak freely.  One, although the buyers fee is norm for art and collectibles auction houses, I think it hinders the prices the sellers received.  essentially 30% or more is being paid on top of the price the seller gets.  Prices should be 15% higher than a normal auction for the seller to be better off selling there.   Two, how does a name like Tartan Jacket get put in that auction?   Great names all around and then that one.   Sounds like a friend name to me.   But overall, quality names run by quality people.  The results are the measure though.  And we’ll find that out tomorrow. Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices  20 years old and 18 bids.   Helps you find sites.  That might be obvious  19 years old.  A PR4 and bids have hit four figures    Millions use them every month  Surprised it has no bidders.  17 years old.  Hunting is big in Oregon.  Don’t let the Portland granolas fool you   Money is flowing into LNN and NNL right now.  aka they’re hot Even this type is doing well   the triple 8s are driving the price   Getting some great bids.   City in Greece, also spelled with a C    TV and a CHiP  So negative but sounds fun and   Dot co is slowly fading.  I was a buyer but now I’m a holder  Some are calling for the end of I don’t agree.  I think it is worth more in the future.  Just my opinion.  Don’t buy on it or you will lose money  Double letters or numbers are always worth more   take out the N and see how expensive it gets  I feel like someone is going to name a site or blog this  I have not won a name in months.  I will win this one    One bidder.  I think this is a great brand name for a foodie

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)  Ends early this morning.   Nice clean up name  the kind of name that is a bargain because people don’t like dot net    Thank goodness this guy’s account was suspended.  So tired of seeing this on the upcoming list

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM  Hit the six figure mark already.  One of the best lead generation names you can buy  Good name for a business in our industry.  No bids   Like most gear and clothing, mountaineering clothing is more for fashion than for function   I say it once a week.  People will pay and do anything to get rid of pain   19 bidders think this have value  Western CHiP that’s doing better than most    Probably best known as the airport code for the city Bridport in Tasmania……or not   Your probably thinking Phosphatidylinositol phosphate kinases too    We certainly have no lack of good LLLL.coms today.  And this one is 20 years old.   Was probably the call letters of some station   Tens of billions spent on these.  Being part of billion dollar businesses is a good thing  More great letters here.   Enduser name    More Chinese here and my guess is that the Western LLLL.coms will do better because of   Half the names above    Every kids of athletic scholarships but education scholarships are the real prize   Unlike 3dprinting and bitcoin names, cloud names seem to keep selling  The kuyl way to spell Cool   The rich mans version of fast cash    Andrew from Media Options has some sales history to back the value of good quality LLL.orgs  Speaking of Andrew.  He collects these    For Sale something something.  Probably won’t sell because of the reserve,, and   Three 12 year old   Not sure how it would be used but 42 bidders have a plan    LD for landscape design

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. 1. Ha, ha. I love the description in the auction for that translates to “we don’t know what to do with it, but maybe you do.”

  2. is also in that auction. I wouldn’t call that one a “great name” as well 😉
