Monday’s Daily Domain Drop and Auction Picks

Another great week to try and make some money.  I blew a negotiation on a domain when I got a little too greedy.  I countered a little too high and the guy walked away.  I should have taken his last offer but I truly thought he was prepared to go higher.  Oh well, sometimes you just get it wrong.  I left $2500 on the table on this one.  Maybe I’ll find another name to make up for it.

Bedroomforrent.com Students, travelers, are often looking for cheap places to stay.  You can help

Bowg.com 1995 domain and 4 letter pronounceable.   Goes for $500 plus.

Webinars.org the future of seminars so you might as well get in.

PlayIn3D.com It’s hard to believe that people were thinking about 3D gaming in 1999 but that’s when this one was registered. Not much interest 12 years later because there are no bidders. I’m not a fan of the 3D hype but I know a bargain when I see one.

AllGames.net Pretty broad.  Sounds like the site is going to have a lot of games.

Inviter.com Online inviter.  We had another good inviting site name a few days ago.  It’s officially a run.

Nashville.me Not a huge fan of the .me extension but for under $200 this is certainly worth a shot

OnlineCoupon.net  I think this coupon thing is catching on

BlackShip.com Sounds like a venture capital group.  It’s already at $852 so you may need Series B funding to buy it.

Make sure to check out Dropday.com for more names

  1. I don’t understand the negotation problem. You countered a little too high and the guy walked away? Is it wrong in that situation to just say, “O.K., I’ll take your last offer bud.” If he wanted the domain, he should be happy. If he’s so offended that you asked for a bit money that he now walks away from the domain, isn’t he letting his feelings get in the way of business? If he walks away that easily, he must not have cared that much about the domain.

    1. You are right. It’s just that I should just said yes, I’ll take it. It was a great return for me but I pushed for a little more. Not a huge deal but I was questioning myself on the counter but I thought like you. If he wants it, another $500 won’t be a problem.
