Sedo’s Great Domains Auction Ends Soon; CUN.com Leads Domains With Reserve Met

Sedo’s Great Domains auction for March wraps up tomorrow at 1:00 pm EST, and 19 of the 80 listings have hit reserve so far.

Of the domains with reserve met, CUN.com is the leader by a long shot, with bidding currently near 43,000 EUR, which is near $48,000 USD. CUN.com isn’t comprised of Chinese premium letters, but it does have China ties; according to Wikipedia, “The cun is a traditional Chinese unit of length.” It’s also Cancun’s airport code.

There are plenty of gems that haven’t hit reserve yet, including two character domains such as 1M.com and 1D.com, each of which has a reserve range of 50,000 – 99,999 GBP (roughly $70k-$140k). There are also lots of three letter domains, such as VDD.com, CKX.com, and EZY.com.

Many of these domains are owned by a London-based company named Inavit, which appears ready to raise some cash with their inventory.
