SHANE’S BIG LIST: Friday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on the 28th

Man this week has been flying by….and so has the month.  I have been buying names like crazy this month.  I almost spent my whole bankroll.  I feel like I understand what domains are selling right now.  I may be wrong but I’m still buying like I do.  I had a wonderful Christmas present this week as well.  I got the Godaddy email saying you have sold a Premium Listing.  $5500 for a $69 investment.   One of my better returns.  Hoping I get a few more this week 🙂  Here are today’s names and the daily quote.

  1. Hey Shane,

“I have been buying names like crazy this month. I almost spent my whole bankroll. I feel like I understand what domains are selling right now. I may be wrong but I’m still buying like I do”

Curious – where you do your buying and if you limit your buying within a certain price limit.

    Happy New Year!

    1. Webuy,

I buy on Namejet, Godaddy, and privately. I limit my spending because I do this crazy idea that I should only spend money that I have. I take my profit and put roughly 70% of it back into a fund to buy more domains or build outs. It had gotten much bigger lately but I have it down to a level that I am going to need to sell to buy more domain. Of course I still have money in case that “special” name comes up but you can’t buy forever. Mot domain investors buy buy buy. They eventually need to sell. As I’ve said before, I have never put 1 penny into domain investing out of my outside earnings….ever. I’ve only reinvested what I made from my blogs or sales. I figure I have assets in the $150-200K from nothing. PS if you would advertise on the domainshane I could buy more 🙂

      Shane
