Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, May 20th, 2022

Yoni Belousov is one of the smartest people I know so it didn’t surprise me that he recently bought dot link. New Gs are starting to take off. Crypto and NFTs have led the push to general acceptance. The new web doesn’t care as much about dot com. That doesn’t mean that dot com isn’t the best and most valuable. It only means that registrations are picking up in the alt TLDs. So Yoni buying dot link is perfect timing. He is always ahead of the market and I look for dot link to continue or regain its growth. He is very scientific and thorough in his research so he’s done the math. The math says it was a good buy whatever the price and I fully assume he will be correct. I think you’re going to see some more big sales of newGs in the next year.

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. 1. Happy Friday Shane! Curious what your thoughts are on being ahead of the market as you described Yoni, versus someone like Frank Schilling? Clearly timing is key, but wondering if you have any more thoughts beyond that. Thanks for the list as always!

    1. It really comes down to timing. Dot xyz was successful with millions of dollars in marketing. But nobody knew that it would be crypto and web3 that would take it to a top level TLD. Just have to keep hoping that some industry will adopt and dot Yoni may have a plan for what industry that will be
