Domain Spotlight:

Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, July 20th, 2022

I had a woman in the nursery who was from a Russian speaking country. The thing about the Russian language is that its very harsh and direct. Or at least seems like that. So even when speaking in English it comes across as demanding. She definitely told me exactly what she expected from me. In this case it was to help her pick out rocks. I won’t lie, she was extremely attractive. Tall and slender and wearing nice clothes. I always help everyone but there are too many customers to help every one pick out every single stone. So I bring them a cart and have them start picking stone if they are smaller. These were small cobble so I figure she would be fine. The way she looked at me made me laugh a little and she caught the giggle. So came over and helped her put about 15 stones on the cart and wheeled them over to the scale

As we got on the scale she said “I need to take a few off. They are wrinkley and I don’t like wrinkles. I want smooth and beautiful stone because these will be at the front of my house” I smiled again. Laughing because of the wrinkled comment but also because she talked like Anna from the Netflix special. “These rocks are too basic”. As we headed to her car she said to me “Why do you smile so much” “My father said people that smile a lot are trying to take things from you” I said back quickly “Sounds like your Dad needed better friends” Pushing our verbal relationship a bit but she was being a little condescending. She responded with “My Dad smiled but when he was supposed to like when a joke” I basically told her I smile because I’m happy. Look what I do for a living. I get to work with plants, be outside, get some exercise and I do it for myself. Her response. “I’m surprised you can get American men to work. They don’t like to work. I planted 140 shrubs all by myself. I’m not scared to get on a shovel” I won’t lie. Her combination of looks, working hard, and berating me was kind of nice. Been a while since anyone has gotten on me from looking to happy. The last person to do it was Michael Berkens at a domain lunch and things went well for me since then. Maybe this is the next leg up.

Domain of the Day: SmartAboutMoney.org Highest price on the board because of the backlinks and history. Amazing how people pay tens of thousands of dollars for a dead website and the website people let it go for free. Those who know make money

Quote of the Day: “More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren’t so busy denying them.” – Harold J. Smith
