Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, July 20th, 2022

I had a woman in the nursery who was from a Russian speaking country. The thing about the Russian language is that its very harsh and direct. Or at least seems like that. So even when speaking in English it comes across as demanding. She definitely told me exactly what she expected from me. In this case it was to help her pick out rocks. I won’t lie, she was extremely attractive. Tall and slender and wearing nice clothes. I always help everyone but there are too many customers to help every one pick out every single stone. So I bring them a cart and have them start picking stone if they are smaller. These were small cobble so I figure she would be fine. The way she looked at me made me laugh a little and she caught the giggle. So came over and helped her put about 15 stones on the cart and wheeled them over to the scale

As we got on the scale she said “I need to take a few off. They are wrinkley and I don’t like wrinkles. I want smooth and beautiful stone because these will be at the front of my house” I smiled again. Laughing because of the wrinkled comment but also because she talked like Anna from the Netflix special. “These rocks are too basic”. As we headed to her car she said to me “Why do you smile so much” “My father said people that smile a lot are trying to take things from you” I said back quickly “Sounds like your Dad needed better friends” Pushing our verbal relationship a bit but she was being a little condescending. She responded with “My Dad smiled but when he was supposed to like when a joke” I basically told her I smile because I’m happy. Look what I do for a living. I get to work with plants, be outside, get some exercise and I do it for myself. Her response. “I’m surprised you can get American men to work. They don’t like to work. I planted 140 shrubs all by myself. I’m not scared to get on a shovel” I won’t lie. Her combination of looks, working hard, and berating me was kind of nice. Been a while since anyone has gotten on me from looking to happy. The last person to do it was Michael Berkens at a domain lunch and things went well for me since then. Maybe this is the next leg up.

Domain of the Day: Highest price on the board because of the backlinks and history. Amazing how people pay tens of thousands of dollars for a dead website and the website people let it go for free. Those who know make money

Quote of the Day: “More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren’t so busy denying them.” – Harold J. Smith

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction Taken in 33 extensions. Solid Scrabble letters Could have some fun with this email 24 bidders on this one so far. So some demand We all get taken there when we chase money Nice call to action name. Didn’t know there was a dot today The traffic money is way more than the auction price Last chance to get it. Auction ends today. Ok maybe not the last chance I grow all my bees from seed Gets almost 600 visits

Godaddy Domains With Bids I instantly think pets Popular last name not just a typo of Parrot Most bids on the board today. Has some backlinks but definitely there for a travel site buildout If a NNN dot cc is worth 10K then a NNN dot eth is probably worth that or more at this point. Of course the floor on NNN.eth is like $30K so people value them way over that You should definitely trym Yep… everyone sees Deliver and its way cooler Che Guevara still giving value Used to be an American car company but closed WAYYYYY before domains came around. Coming back as an electric car. JK but that’s the trend right now and First names are always a good hold IMO. People like them if not for email addresses only Only 6 registrations but 1998 and the valley in Cali is an expensive build area Great newsletter name ” Let us help you get ready for retirement “ None of that horsehair stuff. Sorority girls who need the money good hair Sounds like a startup out of the gate Health food all the way Not sure if its a good domain but a heck of a Crime podcast name I love these types of names. Way better than a long company name. So much more memorable

One or No Bids
