Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Friday, January 9th, 2026

If you follow me on X, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been experimenting more with posts and replies. Josh Reason started doing this first. X pays users who cross 5 million impressions. The problem is domain investing is a tiny category and X lumps you into buckets, so posts from people like Josh and me don’t get much organic reach on their own.

One way around that is commenting under much larger accounts. You get exposed to a much bigger audience and those impressions count. It’s a lot of work and there’s definitely a strategy around where and how to post. I’ve been working on that for weeks. Josh has done a great job with it and like everything he does, he ends up building a formula.

I’ve done the same. I’m pretty good at one liners and witty comments. Not all of them hit, but there are a few bangers in there. You get three months to hit 5 million impressions and it’s possible to do it in a month if you’re active a few hours a day.

For those few hours of work, you don’t get paid very much. It’s definitely not worth anyone’s time financially. Some people play video games. I play the game of X. After three months, I’ll share how much I actually made from all of it.

Domain of the Day: W33.com You’ve heard me say this every time a Letter/Repeating Number.com comes up. I have L22 which hardly gets offers and then you see these auctions. Tells me its a 5 figure name easily

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
