This should be pretty easy. I don’t have a very large domain portfolio. I buy a name, enter the data—where, when, and how much. Then when I sell it, I enter the sale price, where it sold, and the date. Simple enough. But somehow, I still fall behind.
AI is changing that for me.
I’m building a spreadsheet with a few API connections, and soon I’ll be able to just prompt in my data. It can even scan my emails and remind me to enter details—or better yet, pull the info directly and translate it into data.
A quick promo like:
“Bought XXXXX.com today at GoDaddy Auctions for $XXXXX.”
Then a follow-up reminder to put up a lander, list it on Afternic, and even suggest pricing.
I’ll have live sell-through rates, average sales prices, profit/loss for the year—all automatically tracked. To me, that beats copying and pasting any day. And with time, I can build on it: add comps, scan similar auctions, and more.
A few years ago, something like this would’ve been impossible for me to build. Now? Not that hard.
We’ll see if I can actually pull it off—but so far, so good.
Set up in Google Sheets, connected to Zapier… and I’m off.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
