If you noticed, Atom switched over the look of their auction layout. It’s so much nicer and easier to read. They also added a time left column for me after I asked to include it. The goal of DSAD is to showcase the best auctions, but we are also partners with the auction houses to help them be better. Better meaning, better experience, selling more names, getting the highest price they can. Obviously, the highest price is not good for us buyers, but I play both sides. I help the businesses do better, and I help myself and other domain investors do better as well.
For domain investors, the buy price is important, but maximizing the sale price is another. Another reminder on Atom is that if you have it listed on Premium, you HAVE to sell the domain at Atom unless you sell it for 10% more at Spaceship or Afternic. No negotiating on your own unless you sell it through the bring-a-lead program. Everything else is against TOS. Do they always enforce it? No. Can they? Yes.
For instance, I had a broker reach out to me to buy a name I have listed as premium at Atom. I guided them to the higher Afternic listing and the Atom listing. If they want to come close to that and go through bring a lead we can. Otherwise, I owe Atom the 15% anyway. Like it or hate it, you are signing up for the TOS when you sell there, so you need to understand your terms.
Now that I am a founder at Winterline, I obviously have started representing my own name, so I have started pulling some names off the platforms. This way, I can see which companies visit the lander and if they visit the site after an outbound email. I think I can do better than sit and wait or put up an ad up for some of my names. The brandables, though, Atom crushes on these, and I’ll always keep them there. They do a great job on brandables and higher-end .ai names if you are patient

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
