Domain Spotlight:

Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Saturday, March 28th, 2026

Communication is the most under valued asset there is. It’s a deteriorating asset and those who master it will benefit greatly in the decades to come. With the onslaught of AI we have also eroded the trust behind our voices. Trust combined with great communication is a powerful weapon.

If you want to see that in action look at the Trump Iran communications. Trump is a terrible communicator and is losing the trust side. It’s evidenced in the fact that Iran is contradicting and calling out his words. An effort to erode his trust. Is it working? The market says it is. It’s hard to fathom that US citizens would believe Iran over our sitting President but the market’s latest reaction says we believe them more than our own President.

The issue has been too much communication and a lack of consistency in delivery. Not the style of delivery. That hasn’t changed. What has increased is the lack of highly defineable truths. “We are doing this, we are doing that.” None of it confirmed by anyone else in his cabinet or another trusted source. When a leader, in thought or power, loses trust, the communication becomes less effective.Over abundant quantity erodes it even more.

Bringing this back to AI. Thoughts and ideas written by AI are no longer thoughts but summarizations of thoughts by all. A move towards common thought, which has less and less value as more AI content is written. Making personal and unique thought the highest value. A person receives the most value from communication when they felt heard. When they feel that a response is personal. Typos and grammar will be less important than the message.

You hear that the most important people in today’s society will be storytellers but what they really mean are the great communicators. They have always been important but that importance has increased 100 fold

Quote of the Day: “Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication.” — Stephen R. Covey
