Greetings from Miami. Went from Mountains, to flat of Illinois, to Miami beach. In town to try and find clients for Winterline. There are a ton of great domain and digital asset brokers in the world so if we are going to get new clients I have to go to them. I’m going to go anywhere in the world there are growing industry meetings. Hackathons, conferences, VC meetups. I have to hustle and find clients. No cold call, online form will ever beat meeting someone in person. The only thing better is word of mouth. But you don’t get words in someone’s mouth until you do something great. We have to build the pyramid one block at a time.
I hadn’t been to Miami in a decade and now I’ll be there twice in the last 6 months. Guessing it will be several times a year considering it’s become a hotbed for VC and emerging tech. Won’t lie, it’s beautiful too. Weather is fantastic except in the middle of the summer. If I can get the mountain, midwest, Miami house thing going I should have it covered. But I’m going to have to sell a lot of domains to make that happen. I guess if Bloom keeps going up we’ll get pretty close.
